This year's OEC skills refresher is scheduled for 3 Oct and 25 October.  Each patroller must complete one of these sessions as well as the online session in order to be eligible to patrol this season.  The NSP has changed the format somewhat this year and the gist of the changes means that the online portion will take 5-6 hours to complete and the skills session will require 5-6 hours of skills review/practice.  We have a new location for the skills sessions this year (St Luke's Health Foundation, 400 S Broadway Ave, Boise).  The online course will cover a number of required modules and 5 electives.  Each patrol gets to choose the electives and we have chosen M24, M6, M28, M30 and M2.  Please make every effort to complete the online course before your skills course.  The NSP is making it very clear that there will no more grace periods.  You must maintain a current OEC status each year.  Currency requires both the online and skills courses.  Sign up in Troopiter for the session you are attending.
